Here we have another case of Pig Iron knocking it out of the park in terms of the “Rule of Cool”. From the dynamic posing, to the unique weaponry they wield, these figures will stand out on any table.
As seen in the webstore pictures, each of the 3 figures comes as 4 separate pieces meaning they must be assembled via glue. The pieces consisting of 5 different choices for heads, 3 identical pairs of hands wielding batons and SMGs/pistols. I found gel cyanoacrylate to be effective, with none of the figures requiring any pinning. I did end up using a pin vise drill and heavy duty hobby blades to carve out a bit of extra space in the slots for hands and heads for a deeper, snugger fit with more surface contact, though.
Top of the industry level casting, with sharp clear detail and minimal mould lines. Almost no flash. This is a standard I have come to expect from Pig Iron Productions, and they have yet to let me down even once.
These are some of my favourite figures from the Kolony range, I highly recommend them.
